Upercussion has released Bitkits, a free collection of 8-bit drum samples split across 10 individual sample packs.
Bitkits is a free collection of ten 8-bit drum kits. The samples in Bitkits come from a time when 8-bit sounds were the standard for video games and digital synthesizers.
Bitkits are available for free download via Upercussion (13.5MB download size, 24-bit WAV format, contains 10 individual drum sample packs with 16 samples each).
Each individual drum kit also contains mappings for NI Maschine, NI Battery, NI Kontakt, Ableton Live 9, FXpansion Geist, EXS24, Halion & NN XT.
