Download 120 FREE U-He Presets & Win Cool Stuff @ Rekkerd!

Rekkerd has launched The Unfinished u-he Synth Contest, offering 120 free U-He synth patches made by The Unfinished (for Bazille, Diva, Podolski, Tyrell N6, Zebra 2 and Zebralette) and giving away an awesome set of prizes to 10 winners!

The competition launched on June 27th and it ends on July 24th, so there’s plenty of time left to submit your entry. To enter the contest, you’ll need to make a track that uses at least one of the 120 provided U-He synth patches. Using additional samples and synths is allowed, however at least one patch from the provided sound bank must be used.

Given the fact that some of the featured virtual instruments are freeware (Podolski, Tyrell N6 and Zebralette), the contest is basically open for everyone interested. The winners will be picked by a group of four judges: Matt Bowdler aka The Unfinished, a member of the U-He team, Jason Graves (Academy Award-winning composer) and Si Begg.

The 10 highest ranked entrants will win a number of The Unfinished sound banks and U-He software, as explained below:

• 1st place – One full license for U-He plugin of choice, along with 50 patches for that synth and a copy of The Unfinished Complete Bundle.
• 2nd place – Two synth sound banks of choice by The Unfinished and a U-He plugin license.
• 3rd place – One synth sound bank of choice by The Unfinished and a U-He plugin license.
• 4th – 10th place – The Unfinished soundset of choice.

Even if you’re not entering the contest, the free sound bank provided by The Unfinished is well worth the download. It contains 120 synth patches in total (20 per instrument), neatly sorted into categories and labeled by type. If you use any U-He synth in your studio, you should definitely check these out. The Unfinished is one of the top sound designers around and getting his patches for free is always a good deal. The patches are available for direct free download from the contest page linked below, no signup or user registration required.
