BPB Monthly Giveaway (October 2016)

26

I’m happy to announce that we’re launching a new segment called BPB Monthly Giveaway. The idea is to award a set of cool prizes to one lucky BPB reader each month. To kick things off, we are giving away the amazing Lewitt DGT 650 USB Microphone, Sugar Audio’s excellent Oscarizor plugin and THEPHONOLOOP’s lovely Cassette Piano for Native Instruments Kontakt (over $600 in hardware and software prizes).

As always on BPB, entering the giveaway will be very easy, no hoops to jump through and no nagging. Learn more about each prize below and scroll all the way down the page to enter the giveaway. Again, please note that one winner gets all three prizes!

#1 Lewitt DGT 650

The first prize is Lewitt Audio’s impressive DGT 650 USB microphone which we reviewed on our website recently. It is a fantastic portable recording solution which also doubles as a 24-bit / 96 kHz audio interface with line input, MIDI input, and a headphone output. And what’s even cooler is that the mic works great with iOS devices, so you can hook it up to an iPhone or iPad (actually, even an iPod will do) and get professional sounding recordings on the go. Check out our video review of the mic below.

The microphone’s retail price is around $550, but now you have the chance to grab it completely free of charge (free worldwide shipping included). We’ve never given away a hardware product before and we honestly can’t wait to send this wonderful mic to one lucky BPB reader! :)

#2 Sugar Audio Oscarizor

Our software prize this month is Sugar Audio’s versatile Oscarizor multi-channel spectrum analyzer for PC and Mac. Priced at $49.95, Oscarizor is one of the most powerful spectrum analyzer’s on the market, providing a myriad features such as multi-channel spectrum analysis, 2D/3D visualization in real time, parallel waveform & spectrum comparison. Version 3 is expected for release in a few days, so keep an eye on the official product page linked below.

UPDATE: Oscarizor V3 is now available for purchase. Learn more about the product on the developer’s official website linked below.

#3 THEPHONOLOOP Cassette Piano

Last but not least, our soundware prize for the month is the lovely Cassette Piano (€16) instrument by THEPHONOLOOP. This unusual piano sample library delivers warm and noisy piano sounds that were sampled from an audio cassette. Each note was sampled in three velocities, resulting one of the warmest and nicest sounding lo-fi piano sound libraries on the market.

  1. Thank you Tomislav for your great support and for this blog! The best way is to follow Sugar Audio at Twitter https://twitter.com/Sugar_Audio or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SugarAudio/ to see when Oscarizor version 3 is out. The big update will be free for existing customers. And if someone of the new Oscarizor customers – from the beginning until the end of the giveaway – will be the winner, the money will be paid back (only via Paypal account). :-)

  2. I sure hope I win! It’s coming my birthday so I’ve been looking at purchasing a microphone because I think I’m a good singer (personal opinion) and I’d like to test it over some of my chill tracks.
