Wave Alchemy has released 909 Tape, a free collection of Roland TR-909 drum machine samples captured from a Studer A80 Mk1 tape machine.
What does a TR-909 sound like when saturated by analogue tape? We love the sound of tape here at Wave Alchemy and so we recorded over 150 sounds from this classic drum machine directly to 1/4” tape. As a special thank you to our loyal customers we are offering the results from this recording session as a FREE exclusive download.
All drums have been recorded directly to 1/4″ analogue tape via a Studer A80 Mk1 tape machine with each sound boasting multiple saturation settings!
