Kazrog has released the beta version PluginUpdate, a free VST/AU/RTAS/TDM/AAX plugin management application for Mac (a Windows version should be released soon).
PluginUpdate is a free utility application that helps you keep your audio plugins up to date. It supports VST, AU, RTAS, TDM, and AAX formats.
PluginUpdate beta is available for free download via Kazrog (5.8MB download size, Mac only for now).
If this one turns out to be a stable and bug free application, it will be a blessing for me. I currently have over 100 VST plugins installed (not a good idea, I know!) and it’s hard as hell to keep everything updated.
You can sign up to the Kazrog mailing list, if you’d like to be notified as soon as the Windows release is out. I’ve embedded Pro Tools Expert’s video review of the Mac version below.
