Peter Dines has released Frame 3, a minimalistic freeware sampler instrument for Native Instruments Reaktor, designed for creative sampling.
Frame is a simple Reaktor sampler I built to implement a type of freeform looping and creative sampling I felt was missing from most other software samplers on the market.
Frame 3 is available for free download via Reaktor Tips (5.7MB download size, contains 1 instrument in ENS format for NI Reaktor).
The instrument is based on selecting different points within the audio sample and scanning between them without clicks and pops. Peter Dines has also launched a series of tutorials, in which he explains the structure and features of Frame 3.
Please note that the full version of NI Reaktor v5.8 or higher is required in order to use this instrument without limitations. It will work for 20 minutes in the freeware Reaktor Player.
