Sample Katra has released Handclap Boss, a free Native Instruments Kontakt library based on Boss HC2 clap synthesizer samples.
The HC2 is a simple but classic clapper and essential for a lot of music styles. We sampled eleven round-robins to capture plenty of nuance and bring as much Katra of the original instrument as we thought practical. Grab it now. It’s free!
Handclap Boss is available for free download via Sample Katra (22.1MB download size, contains 1 instrument in NKI format for NI Kontakt).
The instrument is scripted by Mario Kruselj, a well-known Kontakt developer who has scripted numerous high quality Kontakt instruments in the past.
Check out the rest of the Sample Katra website if you’re looking for good and original sample libraries on the cheap. They already have several releases which are based on samples of vintage hardware instruments.
