Tyrell N6 Kuu Zuu – Free Tyrell N6 Sound Bank Released By The Unfinished

Tyrell N6 Kuu Zuu is a free sound bank for Tyrell N6, featuring a set of 64 synthesizer patches and 36 additional percussion patches crafted by The Unfinished.

This is the third and final release in a series of free Tyrell N6 sound banks by The Unfinished. You can download the previous two releases when you visit the freebies page on The Unfinished’s website. The freebies page also features Magentic Fields, an impressive free collection of atmospheric soundscapes and drones which can be downloaded for free via 99Sounds.

Tyrell N6 Kuu Zuu contains 100 free patches in total. The sound bank covers bass sounds, leads, pads, SFX patches and a bonus set of percussive sounds made with Tyrell N6. Although I rarely use synthesizers as the source of percussive sounds in my music (I’m much more of a drum sample guy), these percussive patches actually serve as a reminder for me to do that more often. One can achieve some really cool stuff when automating various parameters of a synthesizer throughout a track and this technique can really bring percussive elements to life.

By the way, you’ll obviously need to install Tyrell N6 on your computer in order to use these sounds. This is one of the finest freeware synthesizers out there and you’re really missing out if you haven’t used it already! This awesome virtual instrument was coded by Urs Heckmann of U-He and it offers the right mixture of synthesis power and ease of use. Tyrell N6 is fully polished, it looks great and it sounds amazing. It also comes with a huge factory sound library and these free patches by The Unfinished are yet another good reason to add Tyrell N6 to your DAW.
