Glitchmachines has released Teratoma, a freely downloadable collection of sound effects in WAV format. The pack also includes Ivo Ivanov’s full-length electronic music album of the same name, released in cooperation with Detroit Underground Records.

Teratoma was released in celebration of Glitchmachines’ 12-year anniversary. This huge project was over two years in the making, with over 1,800 active working hours spent on designing, editing, and mastering the included audio content. What’s particularly interesting is that Glitchmachines decided to include some of Ivo Ivanov’s working notes in the pack along with the rest of the content, providing a behind the scenes look at his sound design workflow.

As for the sample content, Teratoma contains a total of 150 sound effects in 24-bit WAV format, which is around 300 MB worth of audio files. These are modern sounding and professionally designed SFX samples which can fit anywhere from electronic music to movie trailers and film scores. The pack includes a range of transition effects, risers, downshifters, and a variety of other SFX. If you’ve downloaded any Glitchmachines sample packs in the past, you will instantly recognize Ivo Ivanov’s signature sound design style and attention to detail. The included sounds are perfectly edited and mix-ready. Unfortunately, the library doesn’t include any patches for samplers like NI Kontakt, NI Maschine, etc.

Also included in the pack is Teratoma music album featuring ten electronic tracks composed by Ivo Ivanov. The tracks are provided in MP3 format, along with full-quality 24-bit WAV version of each mastered track. A valid email address is required in order to receive the download link.

Teratoma is available for free download via Glitchmachines (1.36 GB download size, ZIP archive, contains 150 audio samples in 24-bit WAV format, 10 audio tracks in 24-bit WAV format).
