The Synchro Arts Holiday Sale offers up to 50% off award-winning vocal production tools. The Holiday Sale is a limited-time event that will run until January 3rd, 2023.

Synchro Arts have been around since the mid-1990s, creating tools that help craft the perfect vocal performance. The London-based developer has even been honored by The Academy (Oscars) with a Scientific and Engineering Award in 2021.

Unfortunately, upon accepting the award, Synchro Arts compared surviving in the ultra-competitive film industry to the Wild Wild West, a comment that Will Smith took as a joke at his expense. Will Smith rushed the stage, slapped each team member, and urged them to keep his terrible movies out of their mouths.

So, none of that happened, Will Smith has made some good movies, but Wild Wild West is terrible, and Synchro Arts did win the award (that part is real).

The Holiday Sale features discounts on VocAlign, Revoice Pro 4, and RePitch.

Each product could be useful in various situations, but RePitch is probably the one that is most applicable to use bedroom producers.

During the sale, RePitch is available for $99 instead of the usual $198.

Synchro Arts RePitch

As someone who can’t sing a note, one of the most annoying situations is when you bring a singer in and get an almost perfect performance. My first thought is always that it’s far better than if I’d done it myself, but the singer is gone, I can’t do another take, and it’s so close that I want to save it.

If the whole performance is terrible, at least you can bin it and move on.

I might spend too long trying to save something I can’t fix convincingly. It could be slight pitch fluctuations over a sustained note or the singer not bending the note correctly to end a phrase; it could be anything. The issue isn’t just fixing the pitch; it’s fixing it in a way that sounds natural.

In other words, you don’t want an Adele-like ballad with vocals that sound like T-Pain.

RePitch is a tool that makes it easier to remove or fix imperfections in vocals without sounding processed or doctored. The latest update, 1.1, features a new Pitch Drift control that takes care of those slight fluctuations that often occur even with good singers.

Editing vocal flaws can be pretty tedious, so if you spend more time than you’d like doing it, RePitch is worth checking out.

RePitch is an ARA-enabled product (instant data transfer between plugin and DAW) available in AU, VST3, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.
