To celebrate the first 6 months of the BPB community, I decided to launch a music contest that uses a small, exclusive sample pack I put together.

There will be five winners (based on entries that collect the most likes) and two prizes for each winner (W.A. Production Must Have Tools Bundle 3 and Flame Sound Inferno SFX).

Below you’ll find the full rules, deadlines, and prizes. Please read everything carefully before entering.

// PHASE 1 — Contest Launch (Nov 21)

Download the 20-sound BPB sample pack (DL link is at the bottom) and make a short track while following the rules below.

These are the rules:

1) Use any number of sounds from the pack (but at least one) in combination with any other sample packs, instruments, or plugins that you like.

2) At least one of the sounds from the pack must be featured clearly and recognizably in the final track.

3) You can mangle, stretch, crush, reverse, or otherwise abuse the sounds as much as you’d like.

4) There are no style limitations — ambient, techno, lofi, glitch, trailer vibes… go wild.

// PHASE 2 — Submission Day (Black Friday, Nov 29)

The comments section on this page will reopen on Black Friday so that everyone can submit their entries.

To submit your entry, simply leave a comment using this template:

Important:

Please use a free streaming link (SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp, etc.).

No early submissions. The thread opens on Black Friday.

One entry per person.

// PHASE 3 — Voting & Community Feedback (Fri–Mon)

Once entries start rolling in, the voting phase begins immediately.

Everyone can listen to and like their favorite tracks directly in the comments.

However, to qualify for a prize, each participant must:

1) Comment on at least 3 other entries – Leave genuine, helpful feedback (mix notes, arrangement thoughts, or simply what you enjoyed).

2) Write at least 15 words per feedback comment.

I want to keep this fun and meaningful, so comments like “cool track bro” don’t count. 🙂

Voting remains open until Cyber Monday (Dec 2).
