Music producers these days find themselves inundated with sample libraries. Almost any sound we could imagine is available right at our fingertips. The challenge now is finding the best way to organize and access our samples in a way that is fast, convenient and cloud-based.

Loopmasters set out to do exactly that with their upcoming release of Loopcloud. This software will allow its users to have access of all of their loops and samples organized by tempo, instrument, genre, and any additional custom tags. Some DAWs already have a similar method of finding and auditioning samples for your music but the interesting part of LoopCloud is that, in addition to your purchased samples, you also have access to a gigantic library of samples available for purchase from the Loopmasters site. This gives the user the option to use his or her favorite samples (stored on a local hard drive), or browse a cloud-based library of thousands of other samples that may work even better.

It will be possible to drag the samples into your DAW directly from the Loopcloud plugin. Even better, the samples will be downloaded into your session already tempo-synced. If you are using a different computer to edit that same project, all that’s needed is to log in to your user account from that other computer and instantly access your library of sounds.

During the initial launch phase, Loopcloud will feature the samples that you’ve purchased in the Loopmasters store. Updated versions will introduce the ability to purchase individual sounds right within the plugin. It will also be possible to add your own samples to the library and use Loopcloud as your go-to manager for sample content. The release of LoopCloud is slated for early 2017 for owners of a Loopmasters account. Later on, Loopcloud will be offered as a free download for anyone interested. You can sign up for early beta access on the page linked below.
