Yamaha DD-10 Toy Drum Machine Sessions (Free Sample Pack)

For all you toy instrument aficionados out there, here’s a free sample pack featuring the sounds of my Yamaha DD-10 toy drum machine.

Definitely not the sort of drum machine you’d compare to legendary instruments like the Oberheim DMX and such, but there’s something about these cheap drum sounds that I simply can’t resist. You can use them to add a bit of that Lo-Fi vibe to your tunes, or even layer them on top of other drum samples if you feel that they are lacking some punch.

Yamaha DD-10 Toy Drum Machine Sessions features all 25 drum sounds of the original Yamaha DD-10 instrument. The samples were captured in 24-bit, recorded through a cheap but nice sounding Studio V3 preamp by Art. I’ve also included a set of Kontakt 5, Shortcircuit 1, and Poise patches.

  • 25 WAV files (24-bit)
  • Kontakt 5, Shortcircuit 1, Poise patches
  • 2.67 MB download size (3.35 MB on disk)

If you like this sort of stuff, make sure you check out my old Casio SA-10, Yamaha DD-8  and Yamaha SHS-10 sample packs.
