MrM-Blue skin for Oatmeal.
MrM has released MrM – Blue, a great looking free skin for the good old Oatmeal freeware virtual analogue synthesizer in VSTi plugin format for Windows.
I have developed a skin for Oatmeal. I really made an effort to make this plugin look “different” as I think it deserves that.
MrM – Blue is proudly hosted for free download right here on BPB! The author of the skin has kindly agreed to publish the skin on our website.

This is one great looking and nicely polished skin, IMHO. The color palette is easy on the eyes and the interface looks clean enough to provide hours of stress-free tweaking. And Oatmeal is definitely one of those synthesizers which will keep you occupied for hours. A synthesizer with loads of features packed in a streamlined and easy to use package. It is included in our freeware synthesizer round-up, which is linked above.
Oatmeal is available for free download via KVR Audio. The official website for Oatmeal seems to be down at the moment. The linked page features the so called All In One Bundle with additional skins and soundbanks for this awesome synthesizer.
How To Install
To install MrM-Blue, copy the files to the following location on your HDD:
[your disk]:\[your VSTi plugin directory]\oatmeal38-1\oatmeal skins
Restart Oatmeal and choose MrM-Blue from the list of installed skins.
