HY-Plugins Releases HY-Filter3 VST/AU Plugin (Free/$45)

HY-Plugins has introduced HY-Filter3, an advanced filter effect in VST and AU plugin formats for PC and Mac. The plugin comes in Free ($0) and Full ($45) versions.

The free version of HY-Filter3 features two different filter modes (SVF and Reso) with interesting modulation and randomization features. Almost any filter parameter like cutoff, resonance, amp, pan, and others, can be fully randomized or modulated using the provided LFO module. The free version also features input drive, a 3-band parametric equalizer, and a limiter on the output. It is an extremely capable filtering tool, especially considering that you can download it completely free of charge from the developer’s website.

If you need something more advanced, the $49 version of HY-Filter3 unlocks all filter five filter modes (Xover, Dual, Formant, in addition to SVF and Reso), two modulation sources with five different modes (LFO, StepLFO, StepSEQ, EnvFm, and MpEnv), and two FX slots with 18 different effect types to choose from. The user interface is considerably larger to fit the extended functionality of the paid version, but it can be resized to any height and width using simple drag and drop controls (as we’re used to seeing in HY-Plugins releases).

In addition to the features mentioned above, HY-Filter3 also comes with a built-in preset manager, undo/redo functionality, and a choice between serial and parallel routing for the FX section. The free version can be downloaded directly from the developer’s website, whereas the paid version can be purchased through PayPal (the unlock key is delivered via email within 24 hours after payment).

HY-Filter3 is available for download/purchase via HY-Plugins (7 MB download size, ZIP archive, 32-bit & 64-bit VST/AU plugin format for Windows & macOS).

Share it like a boss.
