onWorth putting the little extra money in and either getting DS Thorn Synth, or Unfiltered Audio Triad, in terms of bang for the buck. Note also that Sandman Pro gives you a copy of Instant Delay, and I think Intent gives you a copy of Dent IIRC.

onMy suggestion is Dent 2 for 19.99, it’s a fantastic distortion plugin with many algorithms from subtle to harsh (clip, tube, tape etc), the bitcrusher even has a circuit-bent algorithm! And on top of that a modulation system with lfos, sequencer, input follower etc. You also get the simpler Indent 2 with it. Worth every penny IMO, especially for free :D

onI recommend to get bx_opto pedal + some other plugin for 5-10$. I have it since 2015 and it’s a great optical compressor, especially for vocals (despite it’s positioned as a stompbox).

onAlthough sandman pro exists, if you are strapped for cash and don’t wanna pay for anything, the non-“pro” sandman plugin is outstanding. I ended up getting and it is a sound designing dream! Love it!

onI know, it’s hard to pick one. Cleansweep Pro is a good choice, though. Solid plugin and very useful. My advice is to keep an eye on the Plugin Alliance newsletter. Offers like this became rather frequent and I’ve purchased quite a few plugins from them at bargain prices, along with a few freebies.
