D16 Spacerek Overview

We recently reviewed Spacerek here at Bedroom Producers Blog, so here’s a short excerpt from that article.

Knowing D16, I expected a high-quality reverb, and Spacerek does not disappoint. While Toraverb 2 is a bit out there, bordering on the rowdy and experimental, this is a comparatively clean and gentle reverb that’s nevertheless capable of beautiful sounds.

The modeled spaces are spot on, and that delay network sure goes a long way towards conjuring the echo-y and the ethereal out of the plug-in. Though, for grimy spaces, I’d have to throw some destructive processing on top or go elsewhere.

For a more in-depth look at the plugin, check out Lyubomir Dobrev’s full Spacerek review.

To summarize, Spacerek is a versatile reverb effect focused on simulating realistic spaces. The user can freely adjust the microphone and speaker placement, allowing you to place every instrument in the same virtual room.

Furthermore, Spacerek lets you fine-tune the pre-delay and reflections (direct, early, and late), along with the built-in filter and tilt EQ effects. Choose the reverb mode that suits your project and use it as a starting point for creating a fully customized, realistic space.

Spacerek is available in VST, AU, and AAX plugin formats for digital audio workstations on PC and Mac. Both 32-bit and 64-bit plugin hosts are supported.

  8. Not that I need another reverb, but I need another D16 product to compliment my collection. Very nice plugins indeed. Thank you Tomislav and BPB crew :)

  9. I have (and love) Toraverb – which can do some pretty extreme stuff. I guess Spacerek is the more refined, civilised sibling!

  10. Bought the D16 complete bundle just last year.
So without spacerek. I need this to feel “complete”!

    MY – OCD – JUST – CAN’T – COPE!!!
