Antares offers the Choir plugin for free when you sign up for the 14-day Auto-Tune Unlimited trial.
We already covered this offer back in March. However, several BPB readers reached out to let us know that Antares Choir is available for free again, so we’re writing another news article about it.
What is Antares Choir?
It’s a plugin that aims to transform a monophonic vocal into a choir. The results aren’t spectacularly realistic, but Antares Choir can work for background vocals or as an intentionally artificial-sounding choir.
The interface consists of only three knobs (Vibrato, Pitch, Timing), a pair of stereo image controls, and a menu that lets you select the number of choir voices. To make things even easier, each control comes with a tooltip that explains its functionality.
As already mentioned, Antares Choir won’t magically transform a single vocal into a real-world choir. But, it’s a fun plugin that delivers interesting and mostly musical results. It works best as a creative effect for adding depth and interest to a track.
How can you get Antares Choir for free?
Antares Choir typically costs $79, but you can get it for free for a limited time.
To get a free copy of Antares Choir, you will need to sign up for a 14-day Auto-Tune Unlimited trial. Antares includes the Choir plugin as a free add-on for all trial users.
You should be able to cancel the trial before making a payment. So, you will get to keep your free copy of Antares Choir.
