Rekkerd Sample Remix Contest ($1,000 In Prizes + Free Samples)

6

Our friends at Rekkerd have launched a Sample Remix Contest which includes a free sample pack for everyone interested (available through Splice Sounds) and $1000 in prizes provided by Splice, Plugin Boutique, and Loopmasters.

To enter the contest, you should create a track using only the sounds which are included in the freely downloadable Splice Repack sample pack which is provided exclusively for this remix contest. The sample pack contains 75 royalty-free sounds from various Loopmasters releases, including Chill Trap by Capsun, Future Bass Generation, Deep Trap, and Rolling Drums by Breakage. Apart from the limited set of source sounds, there are no limitations as to which tools can be used to create the track. You can use any DAW, any set of effects, any audio editing and sample mangling technique you can think of, but make sure to only use the provided samples as the sound source.

The grand prize includes over $1000 worth of goodies from Plugin Boutique, Loopmasters, and Splice Sounds. Here is the complete list of the products that are included in the grand prize:

The contest is currently open for new entries, so hurry up and grab your free copy of the Splice Repack to start remixing! The submission deadline is October 8th and the winners will be announced on October 11th on the contest page linked below.

    • I’m not sure, but it should be free for all registered members. If not, you can use our coupon code (BPB17) to get a free trial and 100 credits in your account.

  1. It would appear that you have to sign up with a credit card, with the onus being on you to unsubscribe at some future point in time, which of course, many people will forget to do. I refuse to get involved in schemes (scams) like this.

  2. Hey guys, Ronnie at Rekkerd here.
Sorry for all the hassle. Had I known it would prove so troublesome to get the contest pack I would have set it up differently for sure. Next time I’ll make sure the download will be a simple zip file again…
