99Sounds Releases “Space Divers Mini” SFX Library By Lukas Tvrdon

99Sounds has released Space Divers Mini, a free SFX sample library featuring deep space and underwater sound effects crafted by Lukas Tvrdon.

Lukas is the author of a much larger sound library called Space Divers ($130) which is available for purchase via A Sound Effect. The free release called Space Divers Mini, published by 99Sounds, features 49 additional sound effects which aren’t included in the main release. You can either use it as a standalone product or as an add-on to the full version which comes with over 1,000 sounds.

Both packs are inspired by space travel and deep ocean exploration, so expect to hear loads of ambient noises, bass-heavy impacts, and intense breathing sound effects. The included sounds are the perfect fit for sci-fi movie projects, video games, or music tracks which could benefit from added sci-fi atmosphere. The sounds are provided as high-quality 24-bit WAV files with 96 kHz sampling rate. Please note that you’ll need a utility like 7ZIP (freeware) to extract the downloaded RAR archive.

Apart from creating SFX libraries, Lukas also works as the sound designer in a development studio behind a popular video game called Space Engineers. Read more about Lukas’ sound design techniques, his equipment, and get a few sound design tips in the interview which is posted on the 99Sounds page linked below.

Space Divers Mini is available for free download via 99Sounds (445 MB download size, RAR archive, contains 49 sound effects in 24-bit WAV format, 96 kHz stereo).
