Blacksun is a virtual guitar amplifier for 64-bit digital audio workstations on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The software is available in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats.

So, who is this virtual guitar amp for?
Blacksun is a dual-channel amp capable of delivering clean and high-gain guitar tones. It works well on rock guitars, but you can also crank up the gain for some heavy metal riffs.
The Amp section features the usual 3-band EQ controls, a presence control, and a depth knob. This is also where you’ll set the master volume and the input gain.
Things get a bit more interesting in the Stomps section. Audio Assault included three free guitar pedal sims to get you started. There’s a noise gate, a booster pedal, and the Screamer distortion which emulates one of the most widely-used distortion boxes.
If you need more effects, head to the FX section, which lets you add post effects to the signal. Enhance your guitar tone with some reverb, delay, and chorus. The 9-band graphic EQ will help eliminate any unwanted frequencies.
Last but not least, Blacksun features a dual cabinet loader. It comes with a set of free impulse responses provided by Seacow Cabs. You can fine-tune the cabs with panning, filters, and volume controls.
