Reverb offers up to 40% off Novation and Focusrite B-Stock hardware gear for a limited time.

Until the end of August 2022, you can get up to 40% off selected Novation and Focusrite B-Stock products at Reverb.

The good thing about the two named brands is that they cover a reasonably wide range of product types. You’ve got everything from keyboard and pad controllers to audio interfaces and accessories.

Novation and Focusrite are among the best value-for-money brands when starting a home studio. I know many people who are very happy with one of Focusrite’s Scarlett bundles and many beatmakers who love the Launchkey/Launchpad units.

Novation controllers are typically most appealing to Ableton users (although not exclusively), so if you use Ableton, it could be time to pick up a bargain.

Retailers typically describe B-Stock as products returned within the allocated grace period or replaced under the manufacturer’s guarantee. Understandably, buying a previously faulty product can put people off. Still, realistically, it’s rare that defective devices slip through the net, and even rarer that it would happen twice with one unit.

More importantly, not all B-Stock units were defective, so you could be getting a discount just because someone opened the box or the back panel has a little scratch.

Reverb doesn’t discuss defective units in B-Stock as much as other platforms; they focus on cosmetic issues. Maybe that means the B-Stock here doesn’t include previously faulty units, which would be great! (but don’t quote me on that).

At the end of the day, what’s a little scratch if you can save cash to spend on something else?

Don’t forget that FM8 has a 90% discount at Plugin Boutique till September 6th, 2022, and that comes with Nugen Audio’s Focus Elements Bundle as a free gift (if purchased in August).

  1. lol €120 for an outdated B-stock Scarlett Solo when you can buy a brand-new Audient ID4 MKII with better specs and measurements for the same price.
