Get 70% OFF “liftFX” by BOOM Library (Expires Tomorrow!)

VSTBuzz is currently running a very cool offer on its website. Until July 4th, you can get a 70% discount on the liftFX plugin by developers Boom Library.

liftFX is a sound-generating VST that is designed to allow you to create and modify custom risers to use in your mix. It uses real-time synthesis instead of samples to generate its sound, so your audio quality is perfectly preserved regardless of any warping, stretching, or other alterations that you make.

The instrument comes with over 270 presets, including tonal and noise-based risers, uplifters, downlifters, and other more avant-garde FX and drum sounds. All the sounds are generated using Boom Library’s Turbine engine, which emulates the sonic behavior of a turbojet engine.

The controls are easy to understand, and the interface encourages instant experimentation. The primary control on the user interface is the Progress dial. This knob is used to control the state of your selected sound. Turning the dial up increases the intensity of your sound and vice versa.

You can also choose to set your Progress bar to Backwards mode, which reverses the parameters of your selected sounds. Alternatively, you can record automation into the dial for hands-free control during mixes or performances.

In addition to the Progress control, there are 4 secondary macro controls on liftFX’s GUI. Each of these macros can be set to follow the Progress dial, controlled by a mod wheel, fixed, or automated.

Below is just a handful of some of the controllable effects and modulations that you can integrate into our processing in liftFX:

  • Shape
  • Noise Filter
  • Noise LFO
  • Drive
  • BP/HP Filter
  • Filter LFO Amount
  • Filter LFO Freq
  • LFO Pan
  • Dip Frequency
  • Dip Amount
  • Stereo Width
  • Sidechain
  • Feedback

Just below these customizable macros are two basic filters (low cut and high cut) that affect our entire processed signal, as well as a useful volume dial for making quick level adjustments on the fly.

liftFX gives you a very generous amount of pitch and time-based controls to dial in your sounds as accurately as possible. You can set a custom pitch range for your riser and also adjust the speed of your Progress dial using the Duration control.

All sounds can be tempo-synced, or you can set a custom time in milliseconds for a more freeform sound design.

It’s easy to see how liftFX can be applied to various musical genres and applications. The simple sound design workflow makes it ideal for a wide span of EDM and other dance styles, but it can also be used for Pop, Trap, or Hip-Hop productions.

liftFX may only be a one-trick pony, but it does that trick better than most, and the current discount offer at VSTBuzz is an absolute steal.

liftFX is available in 64-bit VST2.4, VST3, AU, and AAX formats for users of Windows 7 or later. Mac users can get the device in VST2.4, VST3, AAX, and AU with OS X 10.9 or higher.

The deal expires on July 4th, 2023.

70% off what – you might wonder, because likely you’ve never heard of the plugin and no idea what the initial price was. It’s 29 euro right now, which seems like a good full price for such a thing.

  2. There was a limited exclusive sale in China, about $20,but I just missed it and very regretful. At least I have a smiliar plugin by UVI.
