Get Native Instruments Utopia For FREE And Win Komplete 14 Ultimate CE

KVR Audio and Native Instruments are teaming up again for another giveaway where you can win a free copy of Native Instruments’ Utopia instrument and be in the running to win Komplete 14.

I don’t use Native Instruments stuff very often. I once dabbled with Reaktor before the VST version of VCV Rack hit the virtual shelves.

However, Native Instruments still produces some fantastic software and soundware. Utopia is one such product, bringing the sounds of yesteryear to one of the most enduring genres in electronic music.

I love trance music, so it always piques my interest when I see something that purports to capture the sound of old-school trance. So far, I can safely say that VSTs such as Adam Szabo’s Viper more than fit the bill for that millennium sound.

If your wallet is a little lighter, Utopia is definitely worth a look.

As part of the Native Instruments Play range, the controls are kept to a minimum. There are a few things you can use to shape the sound, but the core design ethos is one of immediacy rather than deep sound design controls.

You do have effects, a flexible sequencer, and some macros you can assign. It reminds me of the bitrate-mashed trance tracks I used to stream on Shoutcast. If you want to get into the weeds when it comes to creating those super-saw plucks, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

However, like Hybrid Keys, Analog Dreams, and Ethereal Earth, these sounds are designed to fit a specific vibe and genre. That’s not to say you shouldn’t use them if you’re making something like a drill; just temper your expectations accordingly.

This competition is run by KVR, so you’ll need an account to receive your serial and to enter the competition, which runs throughout the month.

If you pick up Utopia, you’ll be entered to win a copy of Komplete 14 Ultimate CE.

I have no idea what’s in it, but it has the option of an external hard drive, so I’m sure it’s a lot of goodies compared to other bundles.

The Komplete 14 Ultimate CE and Utopia giveaway runs until April 30th. To redeem these offers, you’ll need both a Native Instruments and a KVR account.

Enter the giveaway: Utopia (FREE after opening an account @ KVR + a chance to win Komplete 14 – giveaway ends April 30th)

    • I don’t know why they even ask for it but it isn’t required to complete the sign up. Also, just use a fake number if one was actually needed. A simple solution that requires less effort than a complaint

  1. These official Kontakt libraries from Native are high quality. And they work with the free version of Kontakt.
