It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted some of my own sample work, so here’s a pack of free samples which were recorded from my trusty old Korg ER-1 mkII drum machine.
The sample pack contains 54 individual one-shot drum samples, carefully edited and trimmed in order to avoid any nasty clicks and similar issues. The included drum hits have a nice retro feel to them, as I’ve tried emulating various classic drum machine sounds while adding a bit of Korg ER-1’s modern taste to them.
The resulting samples are not exactly groundbreaking, but I quite like them and I guess you’ll find a good use for them, too. They should work rather well in all sorts of electronica and hip hop. Most of the included drum sounds come really close to classic 808 and 909 drum hits.
That said, my favorite sounds in this collection are the atmospheric FX samples which I’ve created while playing around with the Tribe’s awesome built-in delay. This thing quickly becomes a proper dub machine when you turn on the delay module and blast the feedback knob.

All sounds in this sample pack are provided free of charge and are 100% royalty free. Feel free to use them in any of your music projects, including commercial ones. The sounds, including modified versions of the sounds, may not be redistributed, nor included in other sample packs. Please do not share direct download links, but link to the BPB article instead.
