MixRef – Free Studio Reference Monitor Simulation Utility For Mac (Beta)

HeelAudio has released a beta version of MixRef, a freeware convolution-based reference monitor simulation in VST/AU plugin format for Mac (powered by SonicBirth).

MixRef is a free listening tool to reference a mix on different virtual speakers, using convolution-based speaker modelling.

The plugin is available in two versions (one for use with headphones and one for used with speakers/monitors):

There are two plugins: One plugin for use with monitor speakers and a different one for headphones, both with different functionality and speaker models.
