Free Wooden Percussion And Soft Guitar Chords By Clark Aboud

Clark Aboud has released Wooden Percussion and Soft Guitar Chords, two completely free sample libraries for Native Instruments Kontakt.

I grabbed a couple loose pieces of wooden decking planks, and started smacking them round. Was good fun though. Hopefully now a little fun for someone else too.

The instruments are available for free download via v.i. control forum (2.8MB & 29.4MB download size, NI Kontakt 4 or higher required).

This forum seems like the place to be at the moment, if you’re looking for high quality (yet free) Kontakt instruments. Blakus started it all with his fantastic free cello instrument, and now more and more forum members are catching up with their own sounds.

Clark Aboud’s instruments are simple, but sound very nice. I’m pretty sure I’ll be using the Soft Guitar Chords instrument in some of my future projects!
