Tonebuilder has released DMDSB Chi-Jack Kit, a free drum sample pack featuring the sounds of the Casio RZ-1 digital drum machine.
I just uploaded a free DMD kit called Chi-Jack, featuring the Casio RZ-1. RZ1 has a distinct sound, especially the clap and hats. The classic Chicago Jak/House track by Steve Poindexter “Work that Mutha” used the Casio RZ1.
DMDSB Chi-Jack Kit is available for free download via Tonebuilder’s Facebook page (5.7MB download size, contains 16 audio samples in 16-bit & 24-bit WAV format, including Maschine, Geist, and Guru kits). You don’t need a Facebook account to download these samples!
If you’re familiar with Tonebuilder’s previous releases, you’ll know what to expect from this freebie kit. Top notch samples processed with high end outboard gear, trimmed to perfection and ready to load in any sampler.
Tonebuilder has also recently released the DRIVEN MACHINE DRUMS STRIKES BACK and M.D. Bundle, which is his flagship product at the moment. It contains 2072 audio samples captured from a myriad of drum machines and is available in two flavors:
- DMDSB Standard (€63)
- DMDSB Deluxe (€63)
A taster pack containing 101 drum samples from the full product can be downloaded from Tonebuilder’s website. You can read my review of DMDSB and scroll down the page for some extra free samples!
