Members of KVR Audio have launched KVR Mix Challenge 04, an open mixing contest which will take place between September 1st and September 21st, 2014.
Hello and welcome to the KVR Mix Challenge 04 – September 2014. Challenge will end on Midnight to Monday, 22nd September, PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). The current month-exclusive sponsor is IK Multimedia.
This contest is the result of a very cool initiative by several KVR Audio forum members. The contest is open for everyone to join. All you need to do in order to join the contest is to download the mix stems from the official contest page linked below and then finish your mix and submit it before the deadline expires. You’ll find all further information about the rules and upload guidelines in the Official Rules and Guidelines thread.
In my opinion, contests such as this one are a great way to practice your mixing skills. You can download the mix stems for free and work on the mix in the same way as you’d do if you were working for a real client. As a bonus, the contest winner will get some fantastic prices, including:
