Vocal Hazard Pack Volume 2 is a collection of free vocal samples recorded and released as a free download Volterock. This is probably the weirdest and at the same time the coolest vocal sample library in the world today. And it’s free.
If you’re looking for a set of totally weird vocal samples, look no further. Vocal Hazard Pack Volume 2 is a unique collection of screams, chants, vocal phrases and other vocal sounds, performed by six different vocal artists and meticulously recorded and edited by Volterock. Their previous vocal sample pack (fifth freebie from the top in this article) was already cool, but this second edition of the Vocal Hazard Pack is simply off the charts in terms of awesomeness.
I’ve giggled quite a few times while browsing through the contents because some of the included vocals are just plain silly (in a good way!), but that’s not to say that there aren’t literally tons of totally serious and useful sounds inside. If you’re a music producer looking for some short vocal phrases or if you need vocal samples for movies and/or other video projects, you should definitely grab this freebie pack. The included sounds range from standard shouts and screams to spoken word, longer vocal phrases and some totally weird and spooky sounds.
The library contains 748 vocal samples in total, all of which are provided in 16-bit WAV format. The vocals were recorded with a Neumann u87 microphone which was passed through an Avalon 2022 preamp. All the samples included in Vocal Hazard Pack Volume 2 are completely free to use (even in commercial projects) under the CC license.
If you’re looking for more free vocals similar to these, check out the recently released Nezquik Vocal Sample Pack 1. It’s quite smaller in size compared to the Vocal Hazard Pack, but it still packs a bunch of useful vocal sounds.
