Deep Drums Volume 1 is a free sample pack by MSCLS, featuring a nice selection of drum loops and individual drum hits for deep house / techno producers.
Before you continue reading, please note that you’ll need a working SoundCloud user account in order to access the free download link. After you verify your SoundCloud account on the product page linked below, you’ll be able to start the download and grab the ZIP archive containing the drum samples and loops. If you don’t have access to SoundCloud, you want be able to download this freebie.
The pack contains 26 drum loops and 28 one shot drum samples, along with two marimba loops which are located in a separate folder. Both the drum loops and the one shots are quite well made. The included audio material is organized into five individual drum grooves, whereas each drum groove comes with a corresponding set of audio loops (with several variations) and all of the one shots which were use to create the loops.
This freebie was released a couple of weeks ago, however the download was messed up back then. The download only contained one huge WAV file with all of the samples (the demo track, basically). This issue has been fixed in the meanwhile and what you’ll get now is a neatly organized ZIP archive with all of the samples and loops properly edited and sliced. Certainly a recommended download for techno/house producers who are looking to expand their drum sound arsenal with some deep and punchy drum hits.
