Audiomodern has introduced FWRD, a free collection of one-shot samples and loops derived from high-quality audio recordings of a Porsche Carrera S sports car.
FWRD contains 37 samples and 15 loops, all provided in 24-bit WAV format. The team at Audimodern has recorded a variety of car sounds, from internal mechanisms and door noises to the distinctive Porsche Carrera S motor sound.

The samples sound great and they’re edited to perfection. The pack includes a range of door slams, switches and button noises, as well as the alarm sounds produced by the car. Sadly, there is only one motor recording included. The sample pack would have been even better if it included revving noises, but the creators focused more on capturing the percussive and mechanical sounds.
Audiomodern has also provided a set of percussion loops which were created using the included one-shot samples. These sound fantastic on their own and will certainly inspire users to create new grooves using the sound content that comes with FWRD.
