KV331 Audio is offering the full iPad version of the Synthmaster One ($19.99) virtual synthesizer app as a free download from the App Store until April 15th, 2020.
A couple of weeks ago, KV331 Audio started offering the iPhone edition of Synthmaster One as a free download. Now, the complete iPad edition of the instrument can be downloaded for free, too. Whereas the iPhone edition could be used both on iPhones and iPad devices, the iPad version comes with a larger GUI that can be accessed on the iPad only.

It comes with 650 presets and offers up to 16 voices of polyphony. Users can unlock 600 additional presets with an optional $4.99 in-app purchase. The app features an advanced preset browser that allows the user to search the presets using multiple criteria.
SynthMaster One iOS is KV331 Audio’s first full-blown universal synth app on the iOS platform. It’s a powerful wavetable synth with an intuitive workflow. With its simple layout, rich wavetable/waveform content and inspiring factory preset library, designing new sounds with SynthMaster One iOS is a joy.
What you’re getting with Synthmaster One on the iPad is a full-blown portable synthesizer. The instrument features a semi-modular synthesis engine with two oscillators, two sub oscillators, a pair of multi-mode analog-style filters, four ADSR envelopes, an inbuilt step sequencer, and three LFO modules. Synthmaster One also features eleven different effects with six FX insert slots. The app can be work as a standalone or as an AUv3 synth plugin in compatible host applications on iOS.
The stereo oscillators and sub oscillators can be used for ring modulation, amplitude modulation, phase modulation, or frequency modulation. Also, Synthmaster One is capable of wavetable synthesis with hundreds of included waveforms and wavetables. Users who own both the desktop and iOS versions of Synthmaster One can synchronize their presets across multiple platforms.
