Ableton is offering the Live 10 Suite (€599) flagship digital audio workstation and live performance tool for free use over a 90-day period.

Live 10 Suite is the flagship version of Ableton’s popular music production software. It includes thirteen virtual instruments, 56 effects for audio and MIDI processing, and instant mapping support for a range of MIDI devices. The bundle also includes Max for Live, a modular environment for virtual instruments, effects, and workflow customizations crafted by the members of the Ableton Live community.

It’s no secret that Ableton Live is one of the most popular platforms for music creation. It excels both as a music production tool and a creative digital environment for jamming and live performances. Ableton Live offers a range of powerful virtual synthesizers like Wavetable, Operator, and Analog. Likewise, its Sampler virtual instrument is an advanced tool for playing and editing audio samples.

In addition to its suite of virtual instruments, Ableton Live comes with 56 effects for audio and MIDI. There’s a variety of audio processing tools to choose from, including basic effects like Delay and Reverb, as well as state-of-the-art dynamic processing tools like Glue and Drum Buss. Ableton Live can also host third-party VST plugins and other popular audio plugin formats.

One of Live 10’s coolest features is the Session View, an intuitive environment for developing new musical arrangements and ideas with existing MIDI sequences and audio recordings. For a more traditional sequencer workflow, Ableton Live offers the standard Arrangement View.

Live 10 Suite costs €599 but Ableton is now offering an unlimited free 90-day trial version of the software. Users who download and install the free trial version will get all the features of the full release over a 90-day period.
