Get Waves Berzerk Distortion For FREE (Again) Until July 3rd!

Waves is offering the Berzerk distortion effect as a freebie for all registered users until July 3rd, 2020.

Berzerk is a creative distortion effect with ten distortion algorithms that provide a wide choice of audio degradation flavors. The plugin is regularly priced at $99 one the Waves website (currently on sale for $49), but it was available for free several times in the past, too. It was launched as a limited-time freebie offer on Black Friday last year, and then once again in April this year (here’s our news article about that).

The plugin is now free to download and use once again, and the offer is valid until July 3rd, 2020. If you register your free copy of Berzerk before that, the plugin license will be stored permanently in your Waves user account (meaning that you can keep using the plugin after the promo period expires). Of course, you will need to sign up for a Waves user account first. The registration process is free, and a valid email address is required. You will also need to install the Waves Central license manager to activate the plugin on your computer.

As for what Berzerk does and how it works, we covered this in our previous articles. In short, this is a creative distortion plugin that specializes in “crazy” and aggressive distortion sounds. It uses a set of ten original algorithms and provides plenty of control parameters for customizing the sound. One of its coolest features is the ‘Go Berzerk’ button that randomizes the distortion shape and other settings to quickly generate new and exciting combinations.
