Aquamarine Lite is a cinematic sound library for Native Instruments Kontakt (requires full version). It includes synths, pads, and sonic textures for composing movie soundtracks and trailers. The library is based on 7 GB of sample content, with 3,049 individual samples.

onI don’t think it’s a real giveaway. Might as well be a gimmick to invite potential customers. This challenge offers multiple chance for any user, which is suspiciously generous.

onNot that I’m an old whiner but 95% of this pack is a waste of time unless you want to DIY. Aquamarine has some snapshots, but no presets. As in drop down and load easy. It’s fun to tweak, but…The play button does nothing, stand alone or inside a DAW. One of them, the one with the green face has actual don’t drill down prestes to explore, the effects has very little but a buttload of unnamed samples.
Whattaya want for free, right? What you get after a sizeable download is mostly a set of interfaces to click and go (unnamed) samples. Lots of fun but some starting points outside of two devices would have been nice.
The XY pads are great, the interfaces are great, the content is at best obfuscated. I deleted most of it as hard drive dust bunnies save for Aqua and the green one.
However – thanks for all the free resources you provide!
