Reverb releases Certain Heat Drum Kits, a collection of FREE drum machine samples processed and mastered to sound good in modern-day productions.

Certain Heat Drum Kits is a collection of four production-ready drum kits crafted using vintage and modern drum machine sounds.

The collection features drum sounds captured from the Roland CR-78, Elektron Analog Rytm, LinnDrum, and other drum machines from the epic Reverb Drum Machines collection. The sounds were processed using various bits of analog gear, including the BAE 1073 preamp and the Handsome Audio Zulu tape simulator for added saturation.

These drums will work in a variety of music styles, but they seem to be the best fit for electronica and hip-hop projects. The collection contains four drum kits in total, each consisting of sixteen drum samples.

All sounds are provided in WAV format, so they are fully compatible with all digital audio workstations and sampler plugins on the market. If you’re looking for a free drum sampler, we highly recommend Sitala, Speedrum Lite, and Poise.

If you like the Certain Het Drum Kits collection, be sure to check out Reverb’s other free drum kits. The recently released Modern-Retro Drum Sample Pack is a good example of their drum sampling work.

On a related note, Reverb recently launched Beatmaking Week, offering some fantastic deals on beat-making hardware. You’ll find a variety of deals from Native Instruments, Elektron, Focusrite, and other manufacturers. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to upgrade your studio this summer.

You’ll need to sign up for a free Reverb user account to download the Certain Heat Drum Kits sample pack.
