Our indie sound design label 99Sounds released Music Loops, a free collection of audio loops, samples, Serum presets, and MIDI files.
Music Loops is a 100% royalty-free collection of music loops and one-shot samples created by Monosounds and published by 99Sounds.
It’s packed with electronic and hip-hop music loops, construction kits, MIDI loops, Serum presets, and one-shot samples in WAV format.
While previous 99Sounds releases have focused on cinematic sound design, sound effects, and field recordings, the Music Loops collection is geared toward music production.
The library contains over 700 MB of royalty-free audio files, which are labeled by key and tempo for ease of use.
The library contains a little bit of everything, from drum loops and basslines to vocal hooks, 808 samples, piano melodies, and percussion. It also includes a selection of Serum presets and MIDI files that you can import into your sequencer.
As you can see, there’s a lot to get into once you’ve downloaded the Music Loops pack.
The aim of 99Sounds, like our blog BPB, is to provide you with great free tools for all your creative audio projects. Music Loops is certainly a welcome release for producers and beatmakers.
What I like most about it is its versatility and variety of content and file formats. There’s something for everyone!
I have a tendency to curate sample libraries in macro folders, usually by genre category, for easy identification.
But sometimes I like to find the unexpected, the odd sound I wasn’t looking for but was exactly what I needed.
That’s probably the biggest value of this collection for me, to inspire new creative directions.
This is what the PANDORA BOX! folder is all about. You’ll discover random loops of musical ideas with stems included to help you get started with new songs.
Stems can be very useful for studying and dissecting a musical genre you’re unfamiliar with.
