Polish artist LocoMatt has launched LocoMatt EDM SoundBank, a free collection of EDM oriented presets for the legendary Synth1 freeware synthesizer.
Hello, my name is LocoMatt and here is my EDM sound bank for Synth1. All sounds included in this bank are made by me. LocoMatt is a talented producer and sound designer from Bialystok, Poland. You can check out his music via SoundCloud or take a look at his videos on his YouTube channel. Most of his recent tracks use sounds from this free sound bank, so you can check them out before downloading to get a better idea of what you’ll find inside.
The included presets are mostly designed for use in popular electronic dance music genres such as house and dubstep. The presets cover a nice selection of pads, lead sounds and basses, along with some cool SFX patches.
If you haven’t tried Synth1 yet (simply visit the link on the left to download your free copy), you’re really missing out. It’s a legendary freeware instrument with thousands of free presets available online, contributed by many brilliant sound designers such as Xenos Soundworks and BigTone. onA coule of nice sounds, but most of them range from standard to not-so-great. There are so many awesome collections for Synth1, I’ve become quite picky. ;)
