Fsynthz has released Prognum, a free MIDI processing utility in VST plugin format for Windows (made with SynthEdit).
A MIDI processing VSTi, suited for two purposes: indicating current MIDI program IN BIG NUMBERS (both the 1-128 value and grouped by 8) and browsing MIDI programs of a subsequent synth up and down with one single button.
Prognum is available for free download via Fsynthz. I’ll have to test it to make sure, but this seems like quite a handy plugin to use in a live setup. Changing MIDI programs with my current controller is a huge drag, hopefully Prognum will let me do it quicker and with less hassle.
Btw, for any of you using VSTi plugins in gigs, check out WusikVM! It’s such a brilliant tool, as it allows you to keep presets for all your instruments in one place and simply jump from plugin to plugin with one click.
