Martin78 has released a collection of free drum samples captured from the Korg DDD-5 vintage drum machine.
Drum machine Korg DDD-5, very nice vintage sound, claps and kick similar to Linn drum. Originally recorded at 24bit 48khz. For recording I used Lexicon mpx550 (bypass mode).
Korg DDD-5 samples are available for free download via Martin78 (I had to removed the link, since Google has marked that website as malware). The samples were recorded in 24-bit and later converted to 16-bit without noise dithering.
I’ve only just discovered Martin78’s website, and apparently he’s already released a bunch of great free drum machine sample packs (check out the Free Samples section in the right sidebar). I’ll be adding all of these to the best free drum machine sample packs list here on BPB.
