After a very long beta testing phase, Tokyo Dawn Labs has released v1.0 of their fantastic freeware TDR Feedback Compressor virtual effect for Windows.
A carefully designed dynamic range compressor. The processor is dedicated to sum/bus compression and is the result of an intensive study about the musical behavior of the feed-back compressor topology.
TDR Feedback Compressor is available for free download via Tokyo Dawn Labs (1.2MB download size, 32-bit & 64-bit Windows VST plugin).
Even the first beta versions of this compressor were great and this brushed-up v1.0 release is simply fantastic! I have now included TDR Feedback Compressor in BPB’s round-up of the best freeware compressor VST plugins.
It’s an unbelievably smooth compressor suitable for mastering, spiced up with optional coloration functions. A must-have freeware compressor in my opinion, together with Molot and Density mkIII.
