StrayWorx has released Fujiya MC-3A, a free collection of toy keyboard sounds for Native Instruments Kontakt.
The Fujiya MC-3A is a legendary synthesizer from the end of the good old 80’s. It’s intended to be the rival of the awesome Casio toy-synths. We can say, they succeed. StrayWorx is proud to present the faithful recreation of this fabolous gem, entirely made with NI Kontakt.
Fujiya MC-3A is available for free download via StrayWorx (131MB download size, 1 NKI instrument with a custom GUI panel).
The library features 12 instruments from the Fujiya MC-3A keyboard, as well as the drum sounds. I’ve tested the instrument shortly and I couldn’t really figure out how to trigger the drum samples, but there’s probably some sort of MIDI CC message which needs to be sent to trigger these.
