Danny Herbert has released Point Blank Stereo Distortion, a free multi-band distortion effect created with Max for Live.

The Point Blank Stereo Distortion is a multi-band distortion plugin which also offers a stereo enhancer on each of the three bands. The direct sound from a synth can often lack excitement so a bit of distortion can really help transform the sound and bring it to life.

Point Blank Stereo Distortion is available for free download via Point Blank Online (124kB download size, contains 1 Max for Live device in AMXD file format).

This looks like an interesting effect, although I won’t be able to test it since I don’t use Ableton Live. Apparently, it’s a multi-band distortion effect with a stereo enhancer on each individual band.
