Luxonix has released Cajon Free, a free collection of high quality cajon samples for Native Instruments Kontakt and various SoundFont players.
We sampled cajon for Kontakt library. Our product is not limited acoustic, can be widely used to your various music genre.
Cajon Free is available for free download (surprise!) via Luxonix (5.9 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 1 NKI file for NI Kontakt and 1 SoundFont).
This is a high quality sample collection, with 72 cajon samples in total which were recorded in 24-bit resolution. It includes 4 round robin variations and 4 velocity layers for each hit.
The commercial version of this sample library will include a mixer GUI for the Kontakt version and a total of 1759 samples with 10 velocity layers and up to 16 round robin variations.
The download is available in two different versions. You will need the full version of Kontakt to use the Kontakt version without any limitations. The SoundFont version will work in lots of different samplers, including the freeware SFZ player and Shortcircuit 1. You’ll find more freeware SoundFont players in this round-up article on BPB.
