Westgate Sounds has released Incantations Free, a free collection of chants samples selected from their commercial releases.
Incantations Free contains 13 new chants made using a small set of the source sounds used to make Incantations and Incantations 2.
Incantations Free is available for free download via Westgate Sounds (39.1 MB download size, RAR archive, contains 14 audio samples in 24-bit WAV format + SFZ mappings).
To download the freebie pack, scroll all the way down the page linked above and look for the Incantations Free section. A direct download link is provided on the page.
The pack contains a nice selection of eerie chants (about 30 seconds long) which have been processed with reverb and delay. You’ll also find mappings in SFZ format for each included sound, which is awesome. You can use the freeware Zampler by Beat Magazine or sforzando by Plogue to load these SFZ files.
The commercial Incantations and Incantations 2 sample libraries can be purchased for $30 as a SFZ format bundle. You’ll find more info about the available offers on the main download page.
