Calgar C Instruments has released FourQ, a freeware 4-band parametric equalizer in VST plugin format for Windows.
A Vintage style 4 band EQ, with a modern look. 4 Band EQ with gain, frequency and Q controls all over. High Pass/Low Pass on the low and high bands.
FourQ is available for free download via Calgar C Instruments. Unfortunately, the download link isn’t working at the moment, but it’s probably just a temporary server error.
This is a simple parametric equalizer plugin, with 4 frequency bands and gain metering. By the looks of the GUI components, my guess is that the plugin has been developer using SynthMaker, currently known as FlowStone.
I searched the rest of the developer’s website and found that they’re also offering the Saturn V virtual synthesizer as freeware. It seems that FourQ is their premiere virtual effect release. For more freeware parametric equalizer plugins, take a look at our round-up of free equalizer VST plugins.
