99Sounds has introduced Samples of Tenalach, a free collection of abstract sci-fi sound effects created by Johan Ekelove. The library also includes custom instrument patches for Kontakt 5 and a set of SFZ presets for Plogue Sforzando created by Avner M.
The library contains 91 sci-fi sound effects and various futuristic/abstract SFX noises, expertly crafted by Introspectral. This release is actually the third and final part of Introspectral’s sound pack trilogy, consisting of The Weird Side Samples, InterSpace and the new Samples of Tenalach sound collection. All three sound libraries share a similar sci-fi theme, inspired by space travel and distant alien worlds.
Apart from the samples in WAV format, Samples of Tenalach also comes with a set of instrument patches for NI Kontakt 5, as well as a collection of SFZ mappings for Plogue Sforzando. The Kontakt patches include a custom scripted GUI with on-screen controls for envelope, filter and delay/reverb amount. The SFZ patches (created by Avner M.) will work in most SFZ compatible instruments, but they should be loaded in Plogue Sforzando in order to take full advantage of the customized user interface.
The samples are provided completely free of charge, for royalty free use in music, games and video production.
