Lounge Lizard Session is a lightweight version of AAS’ flagship Lounge Lizard EP-4 virtual electric piano, featuring a set of sixteen classic electric piano presets. Optimized for ultimate ease of use, the Session version of the instrument delivers the same audio quality in a simpler user interface with fewer sound shaping options. The plugin doesn’t feel limited in any way, though, and is a perfect fit for musicians who prefer playing their electric pianos instead of tweaking the sound engine to the tiniest details. Lounge Lizard Session can be upgraded to the full version ($99) of Lounge Lizard EP-4 at any time.

The instrument is available in 32-bit and 64-bit VST, AU, AAX, and RTAS plugin formats for PC and Mac. A standalone version is also available for users who simply want to fire up a virtual electric piano for a quick MIDI controller jam instead of having to fire up their DAW first. Lounge Lizard Session is also very easy on the CPU and only occupies 61 MB of hard drive space, mostly due to the fact that it isn’t a sample-based instrument.
