Sinevibes has announced macOS 10.13 High Sierra compatibility for their entire product lineup and is now offering the Drift multi-effect in AU plugin format as a free download.
Drift was recently offered as an exclusive free download on Reverb.com but is now available as a freebie directly from the developer’s website. It is an interesting multi-effect based on two independent Lorenz chaos oscillators. These two oscillators serve as modulation sources for the plugin’s filter, phaser, volume, and pan controls. The result is chaotic modulation with completely unpredictable time and amplitude values due to the nature of the Lorenz chaos oscillators.
As expected from a Sinevibes product, Drift features a clean, modern-looking user interface with a subtle control scheme and a straightforward control layout. The GUI is fully hardware-accelerated to ensure maximum performance. Unfortunately, another thing that is expected from a Sinevibes plugin is compatibility with Mac-based digital audio workstations only. Windows users are out of luck in this case.
As mentioned previously, the entire Sinevibes product lineup is compatible with macOS 10.13 High Sierra. Sinevibes encourages their users to update their systems to the latest version without any fear of compatibility issues. The latest version of Drift can be downloaded completely free of charge (no signup required) from the product page linked below.
Drift is available for free download via Sinevibes (358 KB download size, DMG file, 32-bit & 64-bit AU plugin format for Mac OS).
